Wanching Ang,

Wanching joined in 1999 and co-heads APEP. She focuses on European and Asian investments, sits on the APEP internal investment committee for global investments and has general management responsibility for the Munich office. Prior to APEP Wanching was with Apax Partners (UK) working on buyout investments and before that at UBS Warburg (UK) in Corporate Finance on transactions in the Consumer Goods Sector. Her first job was with the Development Bank of Singapore in corporate banking. Wanching sat on the European Venture Capital Association´s Investor Relations Committee from 2001-2005 and is on the Advisory Board of a number of private equity partnerships.

Wanching has a BA from the University of Oxford in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and an MBA from INSEAD.
