Martin Lennon,
Prudential M&G
Martin joined Prudential M&G in 1998 and is head of the Project and Infrastructure Finance team.
He is responsible for business managing an infrastructure investment portfolio in excess of €5.5 billion and in 2005 co-founded Infracapital Partners, Prudential M&G’s European Infrastructure Equity Fund.
Martin has over 16 years of experience in infrastructure, project finance and investment gained in industry and the financial sector. During his time at Prudential M&G Martin has developed a diversified business investing in infrastructure across the full range of financial instruments including public bonds, private placements, bank loans, mezzanine and equity.
In 2002 Martin played a key role in the creation of one of the first equity funds focused at buying secondary PFI equity stakes (Innisfree M&G PPP Fund), the Steering and Investment Committees for which he continues to chair. Martin was also responsible for Prudential’s cornerstone investment in the Macquarie Airport Group in 2001 where he was a board director until Prudential realised its investment.
