George Anson, HarbourVest Partners (UK) Ltd George Anson is a managing director with responsibility for overseeing non-U.S. partnership and direct investments. George joined the firm's London subsidiary in 1990 and serves on the advisory boards of a number of European private equity partnerships, including funds managed by Atlas Venture, BC Partners, Cinven, Doughty Hanson & Co., Ethos Private Equity, Global Finance, BS Private Equity, Industri Kapital, and MTI Managers. George's previous experience includes seven years with Pantheon Ventures managing European private equity funds and companies. A U.K. citizen, he was born in Canada and educated in the U.S. George received a BA in Finance from the University of Iowa in 1982. close window
