Accommodation
Accommodation for the event must be reserved separately by participants as this is not included in the conference registration fee. Block bookings have been secured for Symposium attendees at the following hotels: Rome Cavalieri Hilton (fully booked), Mövenpick Hotel Central Park and Grand Hotel Tiberio. Use the accommodation forms to reserve an accommodation at one of these hotels.
The Symposium formally begins with a welcome reception, kindly hosted by SJ Berwin, on Wednesday, 13 June 2007 at 19.30 in the garden of the Rome Cavalieri Hilton.
The gala dinner, hosted by Coller Capital Ltd, will take place at Villa Aurelia on Thursday, 14 June 2007 at 20.00.
Perched on the crest of the Janiculum Hill, the highest in Rome offering spectacular views of the city, Villa Aurelia has been the property of the American Academy in Rome since 1909. Steeped in history as it is built on walls erected by Emperor Aurelian in the year 280, this very select location is a prize venue for prestigious events.
Much of the richly decorated works visible today in the beautiful Music and Dining room, the private Library, etc. date back to the 1670s, and one can also admire the breathtaking gardens with their fountains and terraces.
